Yankee Mania

Welcome!
Derek Jeter
Hey! My name is Zachary and this is my site, Yankee Mania, where I explore the games, players, and transactions of the greatest team in baseball. Hated by some but loved by others, the New York Yankees have dominated the world of sports for over a century. This year I follow their noble quest to win yet another World Series Championship. Quick Notes: Kei Igawa will be making his 3rd major league start tonight, and will be facing his toughest opponents yet. Igawa pitched well in his last outing (in Oakland), but has yet to start a game without allowing at least one long home run.
.
Jeremy Sowers won his only career start against the Bombers, pitching seven innings and allowing only two runs on six hits. Jason Giambi took him deep in that game.
.
Might be a rough night, but here's hoping for the best.... Go Yankees!
